Private Training Intake Session
A Personalized, Welfare-Centered Start to Your Training Journey
(Sessions usually last 2 hours)
Your first step toward real progress begins with a comprehensive intake session designed to understand your dog as an individual. Using force-free, positive reinforcement methods, the LEGS Framework (Learning, Environment, Genetics, Self), and a focus on emotional safety and welfare, we assess your dog’s behavior, history, environment, and daily routines. During this session, we’ll identify current needs, clarify goals, and create a customized training plan that sets you and your dog up for sustainable success.

Ongoing Private Training Sessions
Guided Support to Keep You and Your Dog Growing Together
After your intake session, ongoing private training sessions provide consistent, personalized guidance as you and your dog continue to build skills, confidence, and connection. Each session expands on your individualized plan using force-free, positive reinforcement methods, the LEGS Framework, and a deep commitment to your dog’s emotional welfare and safety. We’ll review your progress, troubleshoot new challenges, adjust strategies, and refine techniques so your training feels sustainable, compassionate, and effective. Follow-up sessions are ideal for reinforcing learning, supporting behavior change, and helping you navigate real-life environments with clarity and confidence.

Postural Analysis
Posture Tells a Story—Let’s Read It Together

In addition to dog training, I now offer Foundational Postural Analysis as a certified Galen Myotherapy Postural Analyst. Posture is an incredibly useful window into a dog’s physical and emotional comfort. By reviewing photos of your dog, I evaluate weight distribution, alignment, muscle loading, and subtle compensation patterns that may not be obvious day to day. You’ll receive a detailed written report that: -Offers insight into what your dog’s posture may indicate -Gives you a baseline for comparison as your dog ages or recovers from injury -Helps you partner more effectively with your veterinarian -Supports your dog’s overall movement, comfort, and wellbeing The service includes the assessment, written report, and and answering any follow-up questions.

Virtual Zoom Sessions
Remote Training With Real Results

Virtual sessions offer a flexible, welfare-centered way to support your dog’s learning from the comfort of your home. These sessions are ideal for practicing specific skills while I observe you and your dog through the screen, offering real-time coaching, feedback, and troubleshooting. We can review videos together, break down behavior step-by-step, and ensure you feel confident implementing strategies between sessions. Virtual work is especially effective for separation anxiety, where we can set up cameras to observe your dog’s body language as you step out of the house, allowing us to capture an accurate baseline while keeping your dog’s emotional safety at the forefront. Whether you live outside Seattle, prefer learning from home, or need targeted support for sensitive behaviors, virtual training provides structured, compassionate guidance tailored to your dog’s unique needs.
