Service Description
Note: I can be flexible on your start time. As long as we have at least two people signed up, we can work around your schedules. You can write preferred start times in the intake form. Appropriate socialization protects a puppy’s mental health and welfare as they learn to navigate the world. Research shows that dogs develop healthy social skills through shared experiences with other dogs, not just free play. In Puppy Social Club, puppies start by observing one another in calm, parallel experiences. This allows them to communicate in subtle ways long before direct interaction occurs. It also helps us to learn a lot about our dogs. These early experiences support emotional regulation, confidence, and pro-social communication that carry into adulthood. As puppies demonstrate readiness, they are supported in choosing when and how to move closer together in an enriched outdoor environment at Seward Park. This choice-based approach allows social skills to develop naturally and safely. Once puppies are comfortable sharing space outdoors, sessions move indoors to Seward Park Studios. Here, puppies explore an enriched environment together—engaging, disengaging, playing, resting, and investigating their surroundings in a way that mirrors real-life social dynamics. This program is built on safety, predictability, and science-based practices that support deep learning during critical developmental periods. Puppies remain in consistent partnerships and gradually progress to shared spaces with additional dogs when they are ready.
