Service Description
(Sessions usually last 2 hours) Your first step toward real progress begins with a comprehensive intake session designed to understand your dog as an individual. Using force-free, positive reinforcement methods, the LEGS Framework (Learning, Environment, Genetics, Self), and a focus on emotional safety and welfare, we assess your dog’s behavior, history, environment, and daily routines. During this session, we’ll identify current needs, clarify goals, and create a customized training plan that sets you and your dog up for sustainable success. Intake sessions are perfect for reactivity, leash skills, new puppies, multi-dog households, cooperative care, or simply strengthening your relationship. Cancellation Policy
Class Policies at Growlerz You may cancel up to 48 hours before the first class for a full refund. Once the class begins, refunds are not available. If an emergency prevents you from attending classes, I will offer one private session to help you catch up. After booking, you’ll receive a class contract to review and sign. You’ll also need to enroll your dog with Growlerz and upload the vaccinations Growlerz requires for all dogs on the premises before attending. Dogs will wear Y-harnesses, and guardians will use eight-foot leashes during class. You can purchase these beforehand or borrow them from Kendra during class. If your dog is reactive toward people or other dogs, please call Kendra before registering. We’ll talk about whether the class is a good fit for your dog and discuss other options if needed.
